In Search of Myself...and other strangers

The simple act of arranging letters on a page
They string into words, then to sentences 
   Like images captured through a lense 
                a stolen glimpse
                a sliver of time captured
   They hang, like ornaments
                 Yet they tell so much about a life. 

Where am I, the real me, in these words, these images?
              wondering....
                 playing....
                    searching....
                        loving....
                            laughing....
                               praying....
                                  crying....
Trying to find myself, a lifelong quest
     Alone with my thoughts
     Piecing together a life
                    With words and images on a page

                Searching,
                Always searching.
