Healing Days at Salt Creek 7/18/01
by Steve Sachs

Second morning,
Fools Crow ("Eagle Bear") stands strongly
With a staff
Up in the fork
Against a bright blue Sky,
The Old Ones descending rapidly,
Even as they have risen from the Earth,
To carry the Dancers
Quicky through all the levels.
For some the rapid rising
Hits like altitude sickness,
Burning away and
Jettisoning old patterns
And complexes,
While the gift of Fools Crows Feathers
Marks the whirlwind,
Healing,
And lifting all higher and higher
Across the days,
Until at final closing,
The four Buffalo riders
Break their tethers
To carry the new energy
Of harmony and mutual respect
Out to the Four Corners
Of the Earth.
May all our hearts be open
To receive and share it!
