Question and Answer
Question submitted by Linda from Austin, Texas

Question:

In what context do you use "chord" when referring to "CHORDcreation" and "CHORDcutting?" I understand you use it metaphorically, especially with the noun "creation" (for example, creating the 'e' flat chord when playing the piano), but I'm not sure how to translate this concept literally when used with the verb "cutting." We "cut" a cord that binds us (if we get tangled up in twine, for example) and we might even cut and replace a worn out "chord" on our guitar -- what exactly does "cutting a chord" depict and symbolize? Can you give me an example replicating a "chord vibration" and "chord cutting" (either negative or positive) in daily living? I understand "chord vibration" pertains to energy (the "vibes" we give off), but I'm unsure how we might cut energy.

CirclePoint Answer:

What is meant is literal and figurative or ritualistic. The chord is energetic, so it is real maybe not physical, but nevertheless it exists or rather chords exist. Anytime we 'connect' with someone, we 'throw out a vibrational and energy chord to that person. Some chords resonate so well that if someone is in danger whom you connected, you will feel it. Mothers and daughters often have them. The gender similarities help a lot if there is healthy connection there. Lovers too have them, especially in the beginning .

One can have chords to patterns that go out and attract folks and situations. That is why some women might say "Gee, I did not even say hello and the same kind of turkey, jerky persons are 'attracted to me'."

So chord cutting can work, provided we do not recreate the portals again. There is homework and preparation work that go prior to the actual cutting of the energy/vibrational chords, which to an onlooker watching it, may see it as figurative or ritual expression.

Chord creation is the opposite. It is creating receptors or openings in your energy system to attract what you want. Also homework and preparation work are needed.
