Now
by Darling Villena-Mata

What if the end world ends tomorrow?
What if we die today?
Then what will we do?
We will die.

How are you now?
What will you do now?
How are you being now?

How I conduct myself today
will help me be me more tomorrow.
How I love myself this moment
will be in me the next moment.

It does not matter what I do.
It is who I am and how I express my love
to myself
to others
to my surroundings.

essentially to God.

In B'hai,
it is said that God is within each of us
God resides there as God resides everywhere.

If God is forever. Than death is a stage exit door.
If we are part of God, and we are.
then Death and dying is a melodrama
to keep us from living and appreciating our lives
now
other people's lives now
--as we were meant to be
by God
through --all the forms of Love
and seeing our world as a story playground ... to learn to live now.
